Basket drills are an important part of learning to play tennis. The most basic premise of learning anything is after all, to perform as many repetitions as possible and manipulate you’re technique to improve upon the result of those repetitions. But there’s a fundamental problem with this form of training – we’re not robots! Doing the same thing over and over again, occasionally gets a little boring!
There are of course many other variables important to developing a great tennis player but a good work ethic on basket drills can be a great way to target areas of improvement in a controlled environment.
This week Dave looks at some great way to mix up feeding to keep basket drills interesting!
